Vaadin 14 is released

Vaadin 14 is the latest LTS release of the Vaadin framework. It comes with dozens of new features, enhancements, and fixes. Version 14 is recommended for all new projects. Upgrading from Vaadin 10-13 is straightforward because of minimal breaking changes.

An online editor for creating Vaadin projects

There is a new way to create Vaadin 14 projects. Using start.vaadin.com, you can configure views, navigation, and the look and feel. You can then download the project as a Spring, Java EE or core Java project. Today, the tool creates views using Java and HTML templates, but we are working on to support pure Java views.

Vaadin 14 was just released, and there are already a bunch of components that support this version in Vaadin Directory: Tooltips4Vaadin by Gerrit Sedlaczek, VStackBarFlow by Jean-Christophe Gueriaud, and CSS Grid Layout by Johannes Goebel, to name a few.
